DR. Sumita Chakraborti

With a rich history of 18 years in dental practice in the Austin area, Dr. Sumita Chakraborti, affectionately known as Dr. Sumita, brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate touch to her work. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UT Austin, laid the foundation for her deep understanding of patient care. Following this, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M Health Science Center in 2006, specializing in a range of restorative procedures in both general and cosmetic dentistry.

In a testament to her resilience and commitment to family, Dr. Sumita made the difficult decision to sell her private practice in Steiner Ranch in November 2017. Following the passing of her husband from a rare cancer in early 2018, she took a brief hiatus to prioritize the needs of her family. With renewed purpose, she found a new professional home as a valued member of Dr. Ueckert’s team in August 2021.

Dr. Sumita aims to elevate the dental experience to a realm of precision and aesthetic finesse. Her vision is rooted in understanding, where each patient is not only treated with clinical expertise but is also embraced with empathetic care. Dr. Sumita is dedicated to fostering an environment where attention to detail, artistic sensibility, and genuine compassion blend seamlessly to redefine dental care.
