Patient Background

Eva had undergone numerous restorative dental treatments over the years, including root canals, metal crowns, tooth posts, and a removable partial denture. Despite these efforts, her natural teeth had deteriorated beyond repair, leaving her with unstable, unreliable dental function. She lived with constant anxiety about her teeth breaking, which affected her ability to eat comfortably, enjoy social events, and live without fear of dental failure.

Course of Treatment

  • Comprehensive Bite & Dental Evaluation – Identified orthopedic bite misalignment that contributed to tooth fractures and denture failure.
  • Tooth Extractions & Implant Placement – Eva’s strong bone structure allowed for immediate implant placement without grafting.
  • Temporary Healing Bridge – Fitted with a fully functional acrylic bridge to allow proper healing over three to four months.
  • Bite Optimization & Crown Replacement – Replaced old metal mandibular crowns with new porcelain crowns to facilitate proper bite alignment.
  • Final All-on-4 Porcelain Bridge – Once the bite was stabilized, the custom final restoration was placed, ensuring long-term durability and comfort.
